Extra-Life 2012

Raised a grand total of $4,257.35 for the Lauren Small Children’s Medical Center at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital. 80 people attended, the event was covered by Channels 17 and 23 plus the Runner paper.

Part of the Children’s Miracle Network, this will be Campus Gamers’ first large charitable fundraising effort. All funds raised will go toward the Lauren Small Children’s Medical Center at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital.

EXTRA LIFE is a 24-hour gaming marathon. Campus Gamers’ Extra Life event will last twelve hours. It will be held in the CSUB Student Union on Saturday, October 20th from 10 AM to 10 PM.

Board and card games in the Blue, Green and Yellow rooms.
Rock Band 3 on the big screen in the Multi-Purpose Room.
Console video games in the Student Lounge.
PCs in the Roost.
A Persona 4 Arena tournament with prizes supplied by Atlus.
A Fruit Ninja Kinect tournament with prizes supplied by Halfbrick.
A Dance Central 3 tournament with prizes supplied by Harmonix.
Just Dance 4 tournament with prizes supplied by Ubisoft.
A silent auction to raise funds for CMN, including awesome gift packs supplied by PopCap Games and 343 industries, and additional items donated by Sega, Wizards of the Coast and others.

Dinner donated by Panda Express.
Beverages donated by Pepsi Cola Bottling Co.

Yes, you can loan games, consoles, monitors, etc. for the event!
