I have a passion for culture, learning, business and for people. Looking for a stable job position where I can share my passion with others. I've been in Japan over 5 years now, have an Masters in International Business, and have experience in Education, Marketing, and Entertainment.

As a Marketer, I worked at an IT company specializing in communication as Marketing Director, running the website, events, campaigns, social media, email, managing the and developing a database of contact, and creating a call code system, and automatic logic workflows based on contact response. I helped create and executed marketing plans, helping to direct the overall strategy and the tactics employed.
As an Educator, I’ve taught at Kindergarten, Elementary, and Junior High Schools in Japan. I became the Head Teacher of Junior High School English Conversation, creating the curriculum, lessons, and grading criteria. I’ve helped lead the training new teachers, familiarizing them teaching methodology and sharing my experiences. I created a number of training and usage manuals, and ran training sessions for new technologies deployed during my time as a marketing director at the IT company.

Experience
Sells Solar & Battery Storage, Roofing, and HVAC. Gives guidance to customers starting from initial design and quote, financing, installation, permission to operate, and monitoring. Works at the office and remotely, and coordinates with customers through calls, emails, and texts.
English Language Consultant (2016 - 2018)
Taught English at a Private School in Osaka. Designed and created the curriculum, lesson materials, and grading criteria for the course. Found interesting ways to make lessons, fun, creative, and easy to understand using print outs, presentation, white boards, iPads and occasionally making use of the school’s computer lab and library for classes. Built students communication skills and provided Eiken practice. Also coached several students who went on to obtain top 10 results in several national English speech contests in Japan. Has experience teaching remotely using Microsoft Teams.
Have taught at Kindergarten, Elementary, and Junior High Schools in Japan. Have been a group leader in training new teachers, teaching them teaching methodology and sharing my experiences with them. Experience managing classrooms of all different ages and keeping lessons on track and entertaining.
Actor and Performer (2001 - Present)
Was a Professional Actor for a number of years in the greater Los Angeles area.

I've danced in the streets or for events in various cities ranging from Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Bakersfield in California, as well as Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Wakayama, and Okinawa in Japan. Dancing ranged from memorized routines, freestyle, and weapon dancing.

Was in charge of all different aspects of marketing within the company. I developed the marketing plans for each quarter that includes a wide mix of marketing activities, such as lead generation, events, website, PR/social media, collateral, and database management.
Lead Generation – Development and administration of Global CTI's internal lead generation engine that feeds the sales funnel and helps increase sales opportunities. From Email, Direct Mail, Landing Pages, Segmented and Targeted Lists, and more, I put together these various components into campaigns to drive traffic to Webinars, Events, and Downloads. The campaigns are designed with the goal to nurture contacts through the buying cycle, which begins at Awareness, and then proceeds through Consideration, Preference, and once the sale is complete, Loyalty.
Website Management – I made sure the wordpress-based site is up-to-date through management of its plugins and widgets, writing and posting of blog posts, adding events to the calendar, and encouraging turnover through SEO.
Event Logistics – Have managed the logistics for numerous events and managed the attendance drive efforts. From IT panel lunch & learns, to social events at baseball games, horse races, and museums, as well as setting up and manning booths at conferences such as CETPA, CISOA, and MISAC.
PR/Social Media – Social media was updated two to three times a week. Encourage community involvement among staff. I handled internal and external communication efforts, such as our leads and referrals program, our quarterly newsletters, press releases, and important updates for customers. Many of these items are focused on branding efforts and encouraging a positive company culture.
Collateral – I also managed the creation of collateral. Collateral educates about who we are and our clients in both print and video. Have created white papers, ebooks, and product and client data sheets, postcards, event videos, and graphics.

Extensive study in both Japanese language and business. Was immersed in the culture living with a host family.
Awarded JASSO (Japan Student Services Organization) Scholarship
First student from Cal State University, Bakersfield to get into the California State University International Programs (CSUIP) for the Japan program.
Graduated top of my class with highest honors in Marketing and Business Economics. During my time at Cal State Bakersfield, I applied for and was accepted into the California State University International Programs for Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan, which is an extremely competitive program. I was also inducted into the Alpha Chi Honor Society, and Beta Gamma Sigma, an International Business Honor Society.
I was very involved on campus as well. I was president of two clubs, the Japanese Club and the International Club, and was a founding member of a Gamer Club which focused on community service. I led, planned, and ran multiple events on campus, several with 300 to 500 attendees.
During my time at Taft, I was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. I graduated top of my class and was Valedictorian, I gave the graduation speech. I was also awarded the Highest Achievement Award for Transfer Curricula.
